Speaking Justice is a poetically formatted lecture series that draws connections between Hip-Hop’s fifth element, “knowledge of self” and education leadership for belonging, equity, liberation.
The Butterfly and The Panther explores writing, poetry, and artivism through the life and lyrics of Tupac Shakur and Mariah Carey.
Discovering My Voice in the Lyrics analyzes historical and contemporary Hip-Hop music lyrics that promote self-esteem and empowerment.
Rap as Poetic Metaphors for Healing and Reclamation asks questions about values, beliefs, attitudes, and ideas that can help people discover healing from trauma, anger, and stress.
